What data a security robot generates
Security robots produce a continuous stream of operational data during patrol. Here's exactly what that data is and what you can do with it:
Patrol logs
Every patrol run is logged with a timestamp, route taken, duration, and any anomalies detected. This creates a searchable, timestamped record of every circuit the robot has completed — something that human guard rounds rarely produce with the same consistency.
Video footage
Continuous video is captured during operation. By default, footage is retained on a rolling basis (7–30 days depending on your agreement). Footage from flagged events — detected motion, anomalies, triggered alerts — is marked for extended retention and is retrievable on demand.
Detection events
When the robot's sensors detect something — a person in a restricted zone, motion after hours, an unidentified vehicle — it generates an event record. Each event includes: timestamp, location within the facility, sensor type that triggered it (visual, thermal, motion), and a video clip of the triggering event.
Live camera feed
Your security team can access a live video stream from the robot on demand. This lets your team remotely assess a situation in real time before dispatching a human response.
Performance telemetry
Battery levels, navigation performance, sensor health, and uptime are all logged continuously. We monitor this remotely and use it for proactive maintenance scheduling.
Who can access the data
Your designated security personnel have access to patrol logs, detection events, and footage. Access is role-based and configured during deployment. Helpforce AI technical staff access telemetry for monitoring and support purposes only.
How data feeds into your existing systems
Detection events and alerts can be pushed to your existing security monitoring software via API or webhook, depending on your setup. See the Integrating with Security Systems article for details.
