What data we collect, how it's used, and who owns it

What data we collect and why

During a Helpforce AI deployment, we work with several categories of data from your facility. Here's what that data is and how we handle it:

Point cloud scan data

We collect a 3D spatial dataset of your facility. This is used solely to build the simulation environment for robot training. It captures the physical dimensions and layout of your space β€” not personnel, inventory content, or commercially sensitive operational data.

Operational data from deployed robots

Once deployed, robots generate sensor data, camera feeds, navigation logs, and performance telemetry. This data is used for remote monitoring, maintenance, and retraining purposes. It is not shared with third parties.

Video footage (security deployments)

Security robots capture continuous video. Footage is stored securely and is accessible to your designated security personnel and, for incident response purposes, to our technical team. Retention periods are defined in your deployment agreement.

Data ownership

Your facility data is yours. The simulation model built from your facility scan is maintained for the purpose of supporting your deployment. It is not used for any other client engagement or shared externally.

Data storage

Operational data and facility models are stored on secure cloud infrastructure. We work with AWS, which maintains robust data security standards.

Questions about data handling

If you have specific data governance requirements β€” common in regulated industries or large enterprises β€” raise them during the proposal phase. We can accommodate specific data handling arrangements. Contact us at [email protected].
