Refund Policy

How refunds work in a milestone-based engagement

Our refund policy

Helpforce AI engagements are structured around project milestones. Refund terms are governed by your signed project agreement — there is no generic universal refund policy, because every engagement is scoped differently.

The general principle

Work completed and delivered is not refundable. Work not yet started is not invoiced. This milestone structure means that in most cases, you have not paid for work that hasn't happened yet — which is by design.

Specifically:

  • If a milestone has been invoiced and work was completed to that milestone, that payment is not refundable

  • If a milestone has been invoiced but the associated work was not completed due to Helpforce AI's failure to deliver, we will either remedy the issue or credit the amount against future milestones — per the terms of your agreement

  • If you choose to cancel an engagement mid-project, you are responsible for payment up to the last completed milestone; subsequent uninvoiced milestones are not charged

Disputes

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or for work not delivered, see the Billing Disputes & Resolution article. We resolve disputes directly — no formal process required to start the conversation.
